Having the right mentality is key, but it’s easier said than done. However, once gotten and used, it can change a lot.

The devil plays mind games for a reason. The Bible talks about the renewal of the mind for a reason.

If it’s lost in the mind, it’s lost everywhere, it’s only a matter of time.

Sometimes you have to intentionally fight to act with the right mentality because you’ll be tested.

But the more you exercise that right thinking, the stronger it gets and the easier it is compared to the first time.

Then again, life will test you even more with bigger weights to see how far you can stretch yourself. So it’s like a consistent thing to do. Almost no rest.

In all of these, it is so much consolation to know that as Christians, we’re not without help. God’s Spirit in us helps and empowers us. He constantly renews our minds and gives us a sound mind.

It’s possible to have the right mentality in place. You’re not without help.

If you need to constantly remind yourself of the right way to think, then do so. Constant reminders help it sink.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].”

2 Timothy 1:7 AMP

That’s powerful and that’s available to you and I in Christ Jesus, the One who has redeemed us.
