The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reacted to rumours that a new jersey will be launched for the Super Eagles before the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
In a notice shared on the social media platforms of the NFF, it said the rumours are false.
“Rumours about a New Jersey launch between NIKE and the Senior Men’s nationals team circulating round social media has been brought to our notice. We want to inform the general public that this claim is not true,” parts of the notice shared on X said.
The NFF added, “At the moment, we have no jersey being launched for the Super Eagles for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to hold in Côte d’Ivoire next month.”

At the 2023 AFCON, Nigeria is in Group A and will face host Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
