In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the acupoint is where the Qi of the small intestine ascend to the sky area where there is Yang qi. Within the body, after the circulation of the body’s energy reaches the acupuncture point the Qi shrinks and the amount is small and weak forming a full circle with the heaven and the body.
