The unusual holiday weather is allowing some Wisconsin farmers a chance to get more outdoor work completed. Tom Gillis farms near River Falls in western Wisconsin. He tells Brownfield with a week of warm weather near 50 degrees, hes certain theres no frost in the ground. Gillis says at least one of his neighbors is applying manure. There could be some manure applied. I think I had the aroma the other night when we were going to our son and daughter-in-laws place for Christmas.
Gillis says another nearby farmer is also taking advantage of having no frost.
