At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange,�live and feeder cattle were higher in limited trade volumes, shrugging off Friday�s On Feed numbers and looking ahead to this week�s cash trade. February live cattle closed $1.87 higher at $170.40 and April lives closed $1.32 higher at $173.45. January feeder cattle closed $.80 higher at $223.55 and March feeder cattle closed $.17 higher at $224.57. �
Direct cash cattle business had a slow start to the holiday-shortened week.
