�My Heart�s In The Palm Of Your Hand� is an anthemic rocker from Dog In A Man Suit, a band based in Jersey City, NJ. A stirring dual-vocal approach lets out a title-touting embrace in the central hook, complemented by chirpy, playful guitars with power-pop and punk intertwining affections. The track represents the first in a series of singles from the band, who are working with mixing/mastering engineer Adam Haggar (Mount Olympia Mastering) to bring their previous DIY demo recordings to light.
A murmured, grungy guitar distortion drives into a radiant guitar lead, then complemented by a catching dual-vocal composure, led by Billie Seeland and Anjali Nair. They lament that �you must have cut me open,� � followed by an infectious �you�re asking what�s the matter,� sequence, strutting the band�s power-pop chops as an uptick in vocal vibrancy aligns with warming layers of guitar. From the submerged moodiness at the two-minute to the effervescent series of hooks, the eclectic �My Heart�s In The Palm Of Your Hand� showcases the band�s hooky songwriting and solid production.
