Its only been 48 hours and Teegan is already seeing slow improvements. It really is amazing what this antibiotic can do!
From her foster home:
“Fostering a demodex puppy isn’t for the faint of heart. Teegan is full of scabs and infection – the smell alone is nauseating. Her wounds are oozing and her ears are infected. What I find so amazing is how fast this medication works to heal these pups. Day 2 and Teegan is wagging her tail non-stop and exploring the house.”

Meet Teegan, a sweet 7 month old girl who we could not turn away. She is 1 of 3 dogs that came in from a rural pound yesterday. Thankfully, we could get her in immediately to see a vet. Teegan has demodex which is common in many of the dogs that come in. It’s a parasitic mite that lives on dogs, but on an immunocompromised dog, the mites can rapidly increase causing loss of hair and itching which causes secondary skin infections.
She is moving to one of our amazing Foster Homes today.
