SWWR 2023 Auction and Ball – A night ‘Down Under’

SWWR 2023 Auction and Ball – A night ‘Down Under’

The post SWWR 2023 Auction and Ball – A night ‘Down Under’ appeared first on Secret World Wildlife Rescue.

Our annual Auction and Ball took place on 21st October at the beautiful Webbington Hotel and Spa.

With a theme of ‘Down Under in Australia’, as well as guests in black ties and ball gowns, we welcomed surfer dudes, Miss Australia, and cassowaries through the doors of the Webbington! We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended, it’s so humbling to see so many people coming together to help wildlife.

A special thanks to the Mayor and Mayoress of Weston-super-Mare for attending and helping out with our raffle draw, the band (Juice) and the magician (Adam Richards Magic) for keeping everyone entertained.

All in, the event raised £14,157 from ticket sales and activities on the night. With costs deducted, that leaves a fabulous £4,771.72 to help sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife.

Please enjoy some photos from the evening below!

Couldn’t make it this year? We will be back next year with an even bigger and better event. More details about our 2024 event will be released by the end of the year.
