New Partner & Associate Appointments

In recognition of their exceptional contribution to our client’s needs, their professionalism, design expertise and leadership while advancing the firm’s values we are pleased to announce the following new Partners and Associate appointments.

Brian Laye – Partner

Brian joined CORE Architects in 2010 and has been practising architectural design in Ontario since 2003. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Ryerson University and a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Toronto.

Working for both architectural and landscape architecture firms, his project experience includes master planning, multi-unit and single-family residential buildings, and community parks and plazas.

While at CORE, Brian has participated in numerous condominium projects, from low-rise designs of 11 storeys to large multi-tower projects up to 88 storeys, including The Stanley, Fashion House, 12 Degrees, M City Phases 1 & 2 and most notably, The One (Foster + Partners).

Elizabeth (Lili) Vu-Campbell – Partner

Lili joined CORE Architects in 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science from Ryerson University. She became an associate in 2012 and was promoted to partner in 2022.

During her tenure at CORE, Lili has worked on various projects, including private residences, hospitality, and numerous multi-residential developments.  From 2012 however, her responsibilities focused on retail roll-outs including Bath and Body Works, La Senza, Pink, Lacoste, Club Monaco, Porsche, Coach, GAP, and MAC Cosmetics domestically and internationally.

Currently, she is the partner in charge of our interior design studio and is creative force for numerous projects including work for Hyatt Andaz at Canada’s tallest condo, The One.

Kevin Quan – Associate

Kevin has over fourteen years of architectural experience and has been a team member at CORE for twelve years. During that time, he has been strongly focused on various condominium projects from low-rise infill projects to complex multi-tower mixed used communities. 

Kevin is currently the associate in charge of our projects at Dockside Whitby for Brookfield Residential,  Galleria 01 and 02 for ELAD Canada, 619 Yonge for YI Developments Ltd. and Lakeville Village Block 1 for Branthaven Homes.

Camille Yu – Associate

Camille Yu has been a member of the CORE team since 2002. She has participated in numerous projects both domestically and internationally.

Her experience with LEED® certifications on projects such as The Central in Ottawa coupled with her experiences with the TCHC at West Don Lands and Allenbury Gardens have provided her with a unique understanding of the importance of “socially responsible” design.

She is currently completing building E at Allenbury Gardens the last of the five buildings in the development that she has managed for FRAM + Slokker and TCHC.
