New Urban Era launched its final project of the year on Sunday that
concludes its six month Creative community Tamworth program.

The program funded by Arts Council England, Tamworth council and local businesses has
seen multiple art events and workshops in Tamworth reaching tens of thousands of local
residents.

“The final project named We Are Angels displays an interactive angel wings trail around
Tamworth town centre for visitors to take selfies.

launched at the Towns Christmas lights switch on with a Christmas showreel projected onto Tamworth Castle that
included Artwork and performances from professional artists and local children.

 

Vic Brown says
Nue is overwhelmed with how this years creative community Tamworth has gone with
thousands of residents taking part in workshops  and visiting our events.

Bringing our six month project to an end with the We are Angels projection onto the castle is the icing on
the cake. Groups who took part in Creative Community Tamworth are delighted to have been given such a unique opportunity”
