Once again I scored some spectacular conditions on my hike on Sunday morning. These 2 views are looking across the south side of Mt Van Dyke. Without any real planning I timed it perfectly to get the sun high...
Once again I scored some spectacular conditions on my hike on Sunday morning. These 2 views are looking across the south side of Mt Van Dyke. Without any real planning I timed it perfectly to get the sun high enough in the sky to light up the fog swirling around the rocky outcrops.
To get to this spot I had to drive 5 minutes to the start of the trail and then hike for an 1hr 37 mins...and climb almost 700m. I reckon it was worth it!
