New Southwest Airlines Pilot Contract Includes 50% Pay Increase Over 5 Years

According to their pilot's union on Wednesday, a 50% pay rise is on the cards for pilots at North American carrier Southwest Airlines. Over the next five years, the more than 10,000 pilots at low-cost-carrier will see their salaries almost double across the next half a decade.
