In 2024, Grupo Aeroméxico –Mexico’s oldest standing airline– is set to turn 90 years old. The carrier launched operations on November 7, 1934, with a flight connecting Mexico City and Acapulco onboard a Stinson aircraft (see the photo of the original airplane, still in Aeromexico’s hands, below).

The airline expects to launch 15 new routes to the United States, alongside Delta Air Lines, next year.
