Aviation industry data analytics firm OAG has released its list of the busiest domestic air routes in the United States ranked by the number of seats. The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the travel industry, and there are significant changes in the top domestic routes compared to 2019 levels. Notably, the Honolulu (HNL) to Kahului (OGG) route did not make the top 10 busiest routes list in 2019, yet it came in third in 2022 and tops the list for this year. The route from Los Angeles to San Francisco was the busiest in 2019. However, it came in sixth place this year.
