What to expect from your Family Portrait Experience:

I have structured our family experience very intentionally. It is my desire for your family to have a fun and enjoyable experience while also capturing images you will cherish for years to come! I work hard to gauge what is needed throughout the entire session. Sometimes a family needs a moment of connection and sometimes they need to be active and incorporate movement. I will spend some time before the beginning of our session to chat and get everyone as comfortable as possible before pulling out the camera. The most important advice I can give any family before a session is to let go of control. Your children may act up, they may not be into it, they may scream, you might feel like we’re not getting anything great, etc…. and this is all normal. The families who accept that there may be moments of struggle and don’t allow those moments to stress them out and steal their joy are the parents that normally end up with the best galleries!
