The NBA action continues on Wednesday night and into the early hours of Thursday morning, with six games taking place. We've picked out our best bets for the upcoming matches.

NBA Betting Tips

Bucks @ Nets - Over 240.5 points @ 10/11 76ers @ Magic - 76ers @ 5/4 Suns @ Rockets - Suns (-1.5) @ 10/11

Treble pays 7.2/1

Bucks @ Nets - Over 240.5 points @ 10/11

The first meeting of the year between the Bucks and the Nets went Milwaukee’s way 129-125, and with the way both sides have been playing, I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar score.

The Bucks are averaging 132 points per game in their last 11 outings, but defensively they rank only 20th with a 120.5 defensive rating, meaning they tend to play in high-scoring games.

The Nets have had a tough time of it recently, losing five in a row, but their schedule for the upcoming weeks is slightly easier, and should put them into contention for a playoff spot in the East.

The three most recent meetings have averaged 235.6 points per game, so I'm backing the over on the points here.

76ers @ Magic - 76ers @ 5/4

On paper, this game looks like a straightforward victory for Philly, but with reigning MVP Joel Embiid out injured, the Magic could make this game closer than you think.

It's worth noting that Orlando are playing the second game of a back-to-back here, but the Sixers are 0-4 without their star man this term, so the Magic will fancy their chances of winning a third consecutive game.

I still fancy the Sixers to win this one, as they rallied back from a 21-point deficit against Miami on Christmas Day, which was ultimately all for nothing as they still lost, but I think Philly can take advantage of a fatigued Magic outfit here.

Suns @ Rockets - Suns (-1.5) @ 10/11

I'm surprised the spread is as little as 1.5, as while the young Houston Rockets squad are competing on a nightly basis, the Suns have so many advantages coming into this matchup.

Kevin Durant and Devin Booker are still healthy and playing, they are unquestionably the best two players in this game, and Houston don't have any offensive options to match the scoring of those two.

The Suns had championship-or-bust expectations in pre-season, and they're probably still there to an extent, but they've lost nine of their last 12, with their most recent outing being a Christmas Day loss against the Dallas Mavericks.

However, I'm taking the Suns here, as they simply have more talent than Houston.
