Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Lifestyle Photoshoot

This year, one of my long-time clients, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), is celebrating their 125th anniversary. This year-long celebration of course includes many events and awards, but also features several issues of their alumni magazine dedicated to honoring PCOM’s past, present, and future. 

One of these issues of Digest aimed to tell the story of a day in the life of PCOM’s three campuses. Our goal? To capture the energy, dedication, and spirit of the students, faculty, and staff who make PCOM such a remarkable institution for over 125 years.

A Storytelling Approach to Campus Life

From the start, our collaboration with PCOM was all about storytelling. The institution wanted visuals that would not only highlight its academic excellence but also showcase the real-life moments that epitomize the student experience. Together, we crafted a shot list that ensured we were capturing the essence of campus life. We planned several lifestyle shoots from dawn to dusk in order to reveal the day to day life of PCOM’s community.

The final images not only captured the vibrant heart of the PCOM community but also provided a visual narrative to celebrate their 150th anniversary. We’re proud to have played a part in telling their story and love the way the images bring the pages to life.
