Beginning today, July 29, Democratic nominee for governor Keisha Lance Bottoms will kick off her Southeast Georgia Health Care Tour where she will highlight her plans to expand Medicaid and protect Georgia’s rural hospitals, and hear from Southeast Georgia residents about the issues impacting them. During the tour, Keisha will make stops in Statesboro, Jesup, Brunswick, Woodbine, and Richmond Hill.

On Wednesday at 10am in Statesboro, Keisha will join Georgians for a roundtable where she will discuss her plans to support health care workers and expand the workforce. Later in the day, she will host a roundtable focused on protecting rural hospitals with Georgians in Jesup. Keisha will end the day in Jesup with a meet and greet with Georgians.

On Thursday, Keisha will hold a campaign event in Woodbine to discuss her plans as governor. Later in the day, Keisha will hold a roundtable in Brunswick to discuss her plans as governor to expand affordable health care and make Georgia’s health care system work better for patients, families, and providers. She will also speak with local residents at a meet and greet in Brunswick.

On Friday, Keisha will sit down with veterans in Richmond Hill to discuss her plans to support them as governor, including by ensuring they have access to the health care they need.
