DriveThruCards.com Shogifuda is a unique new Boardgame that combines the aesthetic appeal of Hanafuda with the skill and rules of Shogi, two classical games and concepts from Japan.
All you need to play is the card-deck, but it is advised that you get a black/uniform playmat or cloth to be able to represent a 3 x 7 grid in which the 'cards' (when acting as Shogi-pieces) can move.
This game encourages to bring some skill and strategy to the table, but it also has that element of 'luck' that you find in a typical hanafuda setting.
The artistic motifs are chosen from our native Alberta, Canada, but do let us know if you prefer a different set of Suit-descriptions instead.

The download-option gets you access to two pdf-files; the RGBA-format is more suitable to view on-screen, and the CMYK-format is what most print shops prefer to use. You can choose and keep both.
While the rules are also available in the printed card deck, we offer them here as well for download, as the card-printed version may be a bit small for some readers.
