SHRIMP SANDWICH

A Swedish saying: “Åka Räkmacka” or “Glida in på Räkmacka”, directly translated to English is: “Sliding on a Shrimp Sandwich”
With a dictionary translation: “to get things handed to you”, “to be on the path of least resistance” or “to achieve things without having to work hard”.

The Interior of BC is a dream of a playground and this crew took their recess and then some!
Getting down and deep from pillow lines to big booters, the landscape of Revelstoke, Selkirks and surrounding ridges showing the crew a good time to help produce the goods for sliding on a shrimp sandwich!

Featuring riders: Sven Thorgren, Brin Alexander, Mary Rand, Johan Rosen, Ylfa Runarsdottir, Garrett Warnick, Keenan Filmer, Taylor Godber, Johan Nordhag and Hans Mindnich.

This Short Film is the result of two years of filming without a particular goal. We linked up in different constellations of homies, usually around Revelstoke, British Columbia, to have fun, to do what we love, and shoot boarding. Mary and Taylor sent us their Alaska footage, and BOOM, the whole movie project came together without having to work too hard! Just like sliding on a SHRIMP SANDWICH!
