In 2023, for the first time, the Michelin Guide recognized restaurants in the Colorado. In partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office, the tire company announced its intent to bring the guide to the Centennial State in June 2023. Two months later, Michelin revealed Colorado’s Bib Gourmand recipients, designating those restaurants that offer multi-course meal options at a “reasonable price”; its star recipients — judged using the guide’s rigorous criteria — were announced in September 2023. Now in its third year of grading restaurants across the state, Michelin announced Colorado’s first-ever two-star addition to the guide: The Wolf’s Tailor.
While restaurants in Aspen, Boulder, Vail, Snowmass Village, and Beaver Creek Resort are also featured in the guide, a majority of the recognized restaurants can be found in Denver. Featuring everything from Asian street food to zero-waste, multi-course tasting menus, here is a map of every Michelin-starred and Bib Gourmand restaurant in Denver.
New this update: AJ’s Pit Bar-B-Q was seized due to alleged “over- and under-reported payroll taxes” and closed.
