There are some sessions that just radiate joy, and Amanda and Jake’s Overlook Park fall engagement session was one of them. From the moment we met, Amanda was squealing with excitement (literally!) and couldn’t stop smiling. These two are the sweetest, most genuine couple, and photographing them together felt like spending golden hour with old friends.

Golden Hour Glow + Fall Foliage Magic

We could not have asked for a more beautiful evening at Overlook Park. The fall foliage was glowing, the wild grasses looked soft and golden, and the light was pure magic. At one point, I felt that we had been transported to the Arizona desert. The pale tones, the golden sun, and the way everything shimmered around them – it was one of those moments where I just kept saying, “Okay, wow…this light!!”

Amanda and Jake looked perfect in their coordinating outfits! Cozy jeans, her white sweater, and his tan zip-up. The neutral colors were the perfect complement to the soft, warm tones of the evening. Every time they looked at each other, they instantly started laughing or smiling, and I couldn’t help but laugh right along with them. Their connection is so natural and joy-filled. You can just feel it in the photos!

Their Love Story

Amanda and Jake’s story started in college at Millersville University, where a mutual friend, Jared, played matchmaker. After hearing about Amanda through Jared, Jake decided to reach out and ask her on a date. The rest, as they say, is history! Watching them together, it’s easy to see that their relationship is built on laughter, friendship, and a whole lot of love.

The Perfect Fall Session

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the light turned golden and soft, wrapping them in the most beautiful glow. It was one of those perfect fall evenings that remind me why I love this season so much. These two made it even more special with how playful, loving, and comfortable they were together.

Amanda and Jake, thank you for trusting me to capture this exciting season in your lives. You two are such a joy, and I cannot wait to celebrate your wedding day next year!
