We’ll have to navigate “Peter Pan” on our own, folks.

Disney, one of the most woke corporate companies in America, continues to backpedal from its hard-Left posture.

Disney CEO Bob Iger vowed in 2023 to steer the company away from its Culture War fixation. one that saw the beloved brand declare war on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Iger’s stance sounded dubious given all that we had learned about the new Mouse House. This viral video clip may have said it best.

That was then.

More recently, Disney films like “Moana 2” and “Inside Out 2” avoided culture war battles and emerged as box office behemoths. Earlier this year, the studio removed a trans-child character from its Pixar series “Win or Lose.”

The company’s statement at the time reflected a new reality at the company.

“When it comes to animated content for a younger audience, we recognize that many parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms and timeline.”

Now, in the wake of President Donald Trump’s robust anti-DEI initiatives, Disney is downgrading its DEI philosophy, according to the liberal Axios news outlet.

Disney is changing its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs to focus more closely on business outcomes, according to a note sent to employees Tuesday and obtained by Axios.

The company also is retracting its “trigger warnings” attached to classic Disney fare.

The entertainment giant is removing the auto-play content advisory disclaimers that run before some older titles on Disney+, like “Dumbo” and “Peter Pan,” that warn viewers the film “includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of peoples or cultures.”

Disney’s woke makeover crushed the company’s bottom line.

Woke animated titles like “Lightyear” and “Strange World” bombed in theaters. The company’s progressive MCU makeover crippled the popular film series, witness duds like “The Marvels” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”

Film Threat has led the way in capturing the DEI-style maneuvers behind-the-scenes at Disney in recent years.

The company’s change of heart reflects both November’s elector results and the harsh realities facing Hollywood in the modern era. The industry is suffering on multiple fronts and can no longer afford policies that don’t spike the bottom line.

Some suggest the industry’s woke makeover was smoke and mirrors from the start. A December 2024 report from Vanity Fair noted Hollywood DEI efforts were crumbling prior to Trump taking the oath of office one last time.
