DC Has Crowned a New Box Office Disaster

After a troubled opening, it's sadly now the case that Supergirl has officially gone from bad to worse following Milly Alcock's solo DC debut. The movie arrived with the difficult task of following last summer’s Superman, but few could have expected the gap between the two films to become quite this dramatic. Its opening weekend offered major alarm bells ringing, and the weeks since have done little to improve the picture. Four weeks later, the film has now claimed an unwanted DC record.
