The 300km bike ride starts in Orangeville and ends in Port Credit Mississauga cycling all through South Central Ontario.

The ride began in 2023 thanks to Daniel and his dad having a vision to bring awareness to the disease called Epilepsy.

Epilepsy South Central Ontario, a leader in epilepsy counselling and support services for clients living with epilepsy. We are proud to announce the details of the highly anticipated “YOU CAN DO IT” – the ride for epilepsy, scheduled to take place on June 7th, 2025.

Marco and his friend Chris are returning to cycle the full 300km in support of epilepsy. Marco’s Son, Daniel will return to join them on the last 50km. This year a new rider, Morris has been added to the team!

“Receiving no sustainable government funding, ‘The ‘YOU CAN DO IT – ride for epilepsy’ brings together the community to learn, understand and supports our fundraising initiatives.” says David Charchalis, CEO, Epilepsy South Central Ontario.

“We here at Gears are proud to promote this ride—not just because it’s local, but because it’s personal.  Every km helps raise awareness and bring us closer to better treatment for those living with epilepsy.  The brain is a fascinating organ that is just waiting to reveal its secrets to us, every effort will help expose them.” says Ira Kennedy, Partner, Gears.
