No offense to Jimi Hendrix, Lenny Kravitz, and Prince, but “Maggot Brain” is considered amongst musicians, [arguably] the best guitar solo ever by a Black Guitarist. It’s considered a “Rite of Passage” for every Black Guitarist to compose his or her version of “Maggot Brain”.
