A refined wedding at Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto — garden ceremony, elegant florals, traditional sake barrel breaking and an evening of music and celebration.
A refined wedding celebration in Kyoto with around eighty guests, set within the gardens and modern architecture of the Four Seasons.
The day began quietly with portraits in Kyoto’s traditional backstreets, before moving into a full ceremony, reception and evening celebration — music, speeches, sake barrel breaking, cake cutting and a packed dance floor.
Grand in scale, but handled with restraint.
Morning Portraits in Kyoto
We met the day before for a short session in the traditional backstreets nearby. Early light, wooden façades, no crowds. A calm moment before the larger celebration.
Ceremony & Garden
The ceremony unfolded within the grounds of the Four Seasons — contemporary design set against a historic Japanese garden. Guests gathered, vows exchanged, confetti in the garden afterwards.
Reception & Celebration
Thoughtful florals. Beautifully presented food. Speeches that felt personal. The breaking of the sake barrel brought everyone together before the evening shifted into music and dancing.
A complete wedding in every sense.
