Those heading into the farm can stop by the Discovery Zone, where festive stationery will be available for youngsters to write their letters in style. Parents are encouraged to include an email address so Father Christmas can send a reply.

A Truly Magical Christmas featuring Santa’s Grotto

The Rare Breeds Centre’s family-favourite, Santa’s Grotto, opens on Saturday 22nd November , welcoming families every weekend through to Christmas. For those eager to see Father Christmas before his sleigh departs, the grotto will also be open from Monday 22nd December to Wednesday, 24th December, offering a final chance to meet him before the big day.

A festive wonderland at the Rare Breeds Centre

As the season unfolds, Santa’s cheerful elves will arrive early to sprinkle Christmas magic throughout the farm. Visitors can expect twinkling lights, seasonal cheer, and an enchanting countryside setting transformed into a festive wonderland.

 

Meet Father Christmas and his merry elves

The cattle barn will be transformed into a magical Santa’s Grotto, where families can enjoy daily festive shows starring Father Christmas and his jolly elves. In the Children’s Barn, twinkling lights, a beautiful Christmas tree, and plenty of photo-perfect spots await families looking to capture cherished memories. Outside the grotto, a flurry of snow from the snow machine will add an extra touch of Christmas wonder.

All grotto tickets include a full day of farm fun, plus Christmas craft activities in the Discovery Zone and a 12 Days of Christmas Letter Trail winding through the festive farmyard. Each activity, including planting a personal Christmas tree, is designed to create lasting memories at the heart of this Christmas-themed countryside attraction
