Every 2 years we get a new addition to the Technic Ultimate Car Concept Series, and the 5th installment in this lineup of massive 1:8 scale cars is the McLaren P1. The choice for this model is surprising; where the other cars in the series are new models, the P1 was introduced in 2013 and discontinued in 2015. Why the team went with an 'outdated' car is anyone's guess.
