Traveling with kids is not for the weak. You’re basically relocating your entire life through TSA while trying to keep everyone fed, entertained, rested and somewhat regulated. I’ve realized the key is not overpacking, overplanning or overcomplicating it. It’s about having a few go-to systems that make you feel a little more put together.
For me, travel is all about looking and feeling refreshed with minimal effort. I want to get off a plane looking bright-eyed, not like I just survived a hostage situation. Here are some things that help me (and the kids) get there in one piece.
Moms Abroad: Travel Tips To Keep You Sane
Look well-rested, effortlessly.
Brow peptide opens up the face, styles your brows and ultimately leaves you with a refined, put-together look. Bright-eyed in 1 minute or less.
Wake up your face, instantly.
The ice roller, as soon as you wake up, gives your skin an instant refresh and will have you looking as rested as your kids.
Optimize your rest, make it deep and uninterrupted.
Apply mouth tape to support nasal breathing, resulting in deep sleep. This also signals to your kids that mom is done for the day and she won’t be taking any more requests or engaging in negotiations.

Packing cubes, color-coded.
Every family member gets their own packing cube color. It makes packing and unpacking an organized, streamlined experience, instead of a chaotic chore.
Create activity packs, reduce screens.
For each kid, pack a foldable, hanging toiletry bag with their favorite activities. Snacks, stickers, crayons, coloring pages, word search, small games and toys. This buys you time on the plane, while taking a break in the hotel, and on long car rides.
Your routine, but concise.
An ice roller, mouth tape and a fresh pack of face towels for yourself, your kids and everything in between. These are the ones you’ll use over and over.
It’s your vacation too.
