Carolina Herrera has expanded its U.S. retail presence with a new flagship boutique in the Miami Design District, bringing the fashion house’s complete collection under one roof.

The nearly 3,000-square-foot boutique opened Aug. 15 at 127 NE 41st St. and marks Carolina Herrera’s sixth U.S. boutique. The opening comes as the New York-based fashion house celebrates its 45th anniversary.

The Miami store carries the brand’s ready-to-wear and eveningwear collections along with handbags, accessories, beauty, fragrance and eyewear. It debuted with Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2026 runway collection, inspired by “Women in the Arts,” as well as the house’s newly introduced handbag line.

“This new opening is a significant milestone in the brand’s 45th year and an exciting opportunity for the business,” Carolina Herrera President Emilie Rubinfeld said. She added that the company had worked for several years with Miami Design District developer Craig Robins and his team to find the right location.

Creative Director Wes Gordon conceived the boutique with interior designer Brandi Howe and Jessica Hyland of Hyland Studio. The Miami-inspired space incorporates shades of pink and red, white limestone and blush-pink travertine flooring, Venetian plaster and custom furnishings. A sculptural serpentine sofa anchors the main salon, while an upstairs level houses Carolina Herrera Beauty.

Art also plays a prominent role in the store’s design. As an extension of the fashion house’s Carolina Herrera for Women in the Arts initiative, the boutique incorporates commissioned works from female artists and makers.

Argentine artist Constanza Vallese created a floral motif that appears on tables, vases, and other elements throughout the store. Los Angeles artist Liz Oliver designed a textile installation suspended above the central salon, while Brooklyn-based all-women studio Choplet Ceramics created handcrafted planters.

“The Carolina Herrera woman is bold, elegant, and joyful,” Gordon said. “Her energy is magnetic — much like the spirit of Miami — so it feels entirely natural that we should open our next home here.”

Founded by Venezuelan-born designer Carolina Herrera in New York in 1981, the fashion house has grown into an international luxury brand. Gordon has served as creative director since 2018.

The Miami flagship is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
