Suit of the Week: McQueen

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. First: this McQueen suit is a lovely color. Second. I've always loved this jacket cut — to me it looks classic but sharp. But: THE SHOES.

Are peep-toe shoes coming back? Are shooties coming back? All we need is an ankle strap and people would've called these “swamp shoes” back in the day. Also, the heels themselves look like a weapon.

(Fun fact: Did you know that a stiletto was the 15th century name for a dagger? I saw that in a museum and wondered at it… here's the Wikipedia page if you're interested.)

The suit itself is gorgeous and I really do think it's the prettiest shade of pink. The blazer is $2400, and the pants are $1,150.
