As Celebrate Nonfiction winds down for the 2024-2025 school year, I wanted to leave you with two exciting announcements. Yesterday a Spanish language edition of Feathers: Not Just for Flying entered the world. This book first came out in 2014, and over the years, it’s become one of my most popular books with nearly 200,000 copies in print. I’m delighted that the ideas and information will now be accessible to even more children (and their adults). The paperback edition of Mega-Predators of the Past hits bookshelves on June 10, just in time for summer reading. This book came out in 2022, and it’s the book kids always flock to when I attend book festivals. Both books are popular with students and teachers at school visits, and I have programs focused on both of them. Have a wonderful summer, Everyone. I’m looking forward to working on a brand-new book idea and catching up on reading all the terrific nonfiction titles that have come out in the last few months. I look forward to seeing you back here next fall.
