Sweetpotato Recipes
Because folks think it’s a type of potato, the North Carolina Sweet Potato Board is looking to change the spelling of sweet potatoes into one word: sweetpotato. The one-word spelling was officially adopted by the National Sweetpotato Collaborators back in 1989 in order to recognize the sweetpotato as a unique and distinct entity from the (white) potato, which is an entirely different crop and botanical species.
