Are you between the ages of 18 and 30 with a passion for nature and the environment? The Ottawa Valley chapter of Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS-OV) is inviting you to join their program “Nature for Everyone, Everywhere!

The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society is the voice for wilderness in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. As part of their mission to educate and connect people to nature, CPAWS-OV is offering youth 18-30 years old the opportunity to participate in their 12-month interactive program.

Have you ever wanted to explore a career in the environmental sector and experience the outdoors through a wilderness expedition? Through hands-on workshops and mentoring, the program guides youth through the development and completion of a conservation project. Participants can choose a topic or theme that excites them. Whether it’s organizing a community bioblitz, leading a shoreline cleanup or creating an educational campaign, the possibilities are endless.

Participants also get to take part in a 3-day canoe trip on the Dumoine River (transportation, equipment and food provided). It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, experience the outdoors, and build new skills.

Nature for Everyone, Everywhere!” is bilingual, free of charge and funded by Canada Service Corps, a federal government program helping youth to gain experience and acquire new skills.

If you’re ready to join the next group of environmental leaders and embark on a wilderness adventure at the same time, apply now at https://cpaws-ov-vo.org/campaigns/youth-program/.

Check out the “Nature for Everyone, Everywhere!” brochure below or see the CPAWS-OV website. Applications are due March 31, 2026.
