The Continued Debate About the Age of the President Anyone with a good memory will remember how Reagan made fun of Walter Mondale who talked constantly about his age, saying: "I won't hold his lack of experience against him"... The problem isn't what political nerds think. We know Biden is well qualified, and that the results speak for themselves. The problem is on the other hand that the average American voter isn't interested in politics. Things are decided by a gut feeling - which can be fine in many other areas - about who 'scores' most in television debates. A totally warped sense of politics that turns it into entertainment. In that environment there is a huge risk that many will fall for the arguments made by Donald Trump. He Has Done it Before! We know it is a nightmare to think about, but nonetheless a very probable result as it was in 2016...
