As a matter of personal confession, I struggle with anger concerning the massive insult the Biden White House threw at Christians yesterday. I also marvel at the incredible political stupidity of such a move – a White House telling more than half the nation that their religious symbology is unwelcome at their holiest time of the year. It certainly is no way to win votes. But then I reflect on the fact that this is the time of year that those of us that are Christian remember a Jesus that remained silent and suffered in the face of mockery and much, much worse.
