When I was a pack-a-day smoker, everything about my day was controlled by the thoughts of smoking and getting my nicotine fix.

I was a slave.

“Deep down, I knew I was a slave. I just denied it.”

From the moment I woke up, the thought of smoking remained at the forefront.

Eating became secondary, along with sleeping, working, taking care of my pets, myself, and my apartment.

If I didn’t have cigarettes, then I couldn’t do anything.

If I was out with friends at the bar, if I ran out of cigarettes and there was no way to get any, I left and went home.

I remember doing this dozens of times.

I couldn’t hangout without smoking. I couldn’t handle the withdrawal.

Everything in my life became a trigger.

Opening the door outside, driving, going on break, leaving work, going out, coming home, before bed, etc.

The list goes on and on.

I was a slave to this drug in every way.

“I thought smoking made my life better, but it was clearly the opposite.”

It absolutely made it worse.

I wouldn’t even date non-smokers at the fear of rejection if they didn’t like me smoking.

I wouldn’t even bother in the first place, so I cut out a lot of people because of smoking.

I certainly smoked behind people’s backs, too.

Even if I only got to enjoy one drag, I still took that one drag and risked people finding out.

I would constantly have gum in my pocket, or breath mints.

I washed my hands probably 10 times a day.

I took showers after smoking so whoever I was meeting wouldn’t smell it on me.

I was scheming left and right all the time to find a moment to smoke.

“I was paralyzed.”

When I finally quit, the sheer amount of freedom I had was very overwhelming.

That’s what’s so exciting when you first quit.

Suddenly you have all this freedom and you don’t know what to do with it!

You were wasting so much time a day smoking, that now you have all the time in the world to do other things.

It’s mind-boggling.

But I can’t tell you how important having the freedom to make your own decisions is in life.

Before, the amount of cigarettes in my pocket controlled my thoughts and actions.

When I quit, I took control of my life and my decision-making.

It really was the best decision of my life, and I can’t possibly imagine going back to that slavery.

If you want 100% of your freedom back, and your life back, then join me.

Get ready for the best part of your life.
