What to Do — and Not Do — During a Deposition in a Personal Injury Case
A deposition can sound intimidating. You may picture a courtroom, a judge, and a dramatic cross-examination. In reality, most depositions happen in a conference room or by video. If you are the injured person in a personal injury case, your deposition may be one of the most important moments in the litigation process. It gives the defense attorney an opportunity to ask about the accident, your injuries, your medical history, your work history, your daily life, and your damages. It also gives your attorney a chance to see how the defense views the case. The post What to Do — and Not Do — During a Deposition in a Personal Injury Case appeared first on The Carolina Law Group.
