Nicole Holm is a CSU STEM VISTA serving at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Prior to the start of my service, I had no experience grant writing and did not identify as a “writer”. However, I have supported the development of 9 grant proposals during my two years as a CSU STEM VISTA, and can honestly say, it has been one of the most valuable experiences. For someone new to grant writing, this short video is a valuable starting place as I share the things I learned about preparing to write a grant.
