OFFICIAL: Super Eagles To Face Ghana, Mali In Friendly Games

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will take on Ghana’s Black Stars and Eagles of Mali in a double header friendly games in March in Marrakech, Morocco. This was disclosed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Communications Department. The Eagles will take on Ghana on 22 March, 2024 then on 26 March, they will face Mali. The game between the Eagles and Ghana brings back memories of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers. After a goalless draw in Kumasi, the Black Stars held the Eagles to a 1-1 draw in Abuja to quantify for the World Cup. For the Malians, the last time they faced the Eagles was in 2016 in a friendly. Leicester forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, got the only goal as the Eagles won 1-0. The Eagles were to face Argentina in a friendly also in March game in the United States but it was cancelled due to logistics.
