Another week in Bansko has gone by. Spring weather is more and more here to stay. Thus, the questions everybody’s asking these days are what are the skiing conditions, how is the snow, can we ski/snowboard for another week?
Our latest snow report will give you answers and get you ready for the weekend and for the week ahead.

Spring-like conditions in Bansko, 29.03.2024

Snow and Slopes

There is still snow on the slopes, however, because of the high temperatures from yesterday and today, the snow condition is not good. Unfortunately, even in the mornings and on the Plato even, the snow is wet and quite soft, getting slushy very quickly in the afternoons. And what is more, a few stones are showing here and there, too.
The worst is that the weather forecast for the next few days predicts even warmer temperatures, meaning snow conditions will most likely worsen.
So, if you are coming to Bansko this weekend, keep in mind that the snow will not be in great condition. But it will be good enough for beginner skiers.

Open Slopes and Lifts

The Ski road is completely closed. So, going down has to be with the Gondola cabin. No more skiing down to town. The rest of the non-working slopes/lifts are visible in the image below.
