The biggest event in the BWB calendar played out this weekend at Derby Arena, and spectators in attendance were treated to incredible performances across both days as teams gave it their all.
Saturday brought the heat with semi-finals underway for all five divisions, with teams determined to claim their place in their respective finals. In the Premier Division semi-finals, Sheffield Steelers triumphed over 2025 champions Jaguars, and London Titans fought back against a strong Manchester Revolution offence. In the Women’s Premier League semi-finals, Worcester Wolves secured their place in the final for the first time in league history after defeating a strong Loughborough Lightning side.
Division 3 got their final underway on Saturday, where Mohawks defeated Leicester Cobras with a dominant performance to claim the title. Notably, Brunel Bulls made their National Championships Final debut, claiming 4th place in the placing game against Aces.
The MVP for the Division 3 final was Mohawks’ Josh Whitwell.

Day two opened with the Division 2 final, where Mohawks delivered a strong team performance against Aces to win 61:45. In the 3rd / 4th place playoff, Lothian Phoenix held off The Bears to take third place.
The MVP for the Division 2 final was Mohawks’ Ciaran Carrigan.

In Division 1, London Titans worked hard to defend against a determined Mohawks side and claim the title 60:62. On Court Two, Sheffield Steelers won the 3rd / 4th place playoff against Exeter Otters.
The MVP for the Division 1 final was London Titan’s Yassine ibesaine.

East London Phoenix delivered a strong team performance in the Women’s Premier League final against Worcester Wolves, winning 74:46. Across the venue, Mohawks claimed third place with a win over Loughborough Lightning.

The Premier Division 3rd / 4th place playoff went down to the wire as Manchester Revolution and Jaguars rolled into overtime, with Jaguars clinching the win 71:76 in dramatic fashion. In the Premier Division final, London Titans pushed Sheffield Steelers all the way, but the northern based team held on to claim the title 64:60.
The MVP for the Premier Division final was Sheffield Steelers’ Lee Fryer.
