Pairing historic city backdrops with the flowy designs of Irish fashion designer Sharon Wauchob set the tone for Kathleen and Ciaran’s Dublin city engagement shoot which will be followed by their destination Irish wedding at Virginia Park Lodge this summer.

With a keen eye and love of both fashion and art, Kathleen and Ciaran’s engagement shoot was one met with intention. Kathleen’s engagement look was thoughtfully curated in collab with her bridal stylist and was a vision to photograph. Kathleen gave me a very specific vision for her and Ciaran’s engagement shoot in Dublin. We embraced movement and romantic whimsy, which I think melded beautifully with the architecture of the city and Kathleen’s flowy fit. The real icing was that evening golden hour light which illuminated the movement of her designer pieces.

I love when you give me a vision for your photos. It gives your shoot a direction that feels more customised to you as a couple. But I think it’s important that whatever direction we take, it’s a team effort to make that vision work. I can direct you, but you also need to bring the vibes. That’s why it’s so important that if you choose to give me a vision for your photos they feel like an extension of who you truly are, especially if they are to look and feel truly effortless.

And because this is a Dublin engagement shoot, it had to end in pints of guinness.
