A fertilizer retailer says he�s had a steady stream of year-end purchases.� Grant Wandrey is the location manager for GROWMARK in Amherst Junction and Wautoma, Wisconsin. He tells Brownfield, �We�re busy in our prepaid season, yup. This is a busy time of year for that with farmers trying to spend money right before the end of the year before the tax man gets it.�
Wandrey says fertilizer orders seem to be up compared to last year, when prices were higher.� He says much of his time now is spent on lining up products and overseeing the Amherst Junction facility expansion, which is scheduled to start receiving products February 15th.
