When Vivien was at writing school, one of the
books we all read was Writing as a Way of
Healing: How Telling Our Stories Transforms Our
Lives by Louise DeSalvo. Yes, this is definitely true,
and it is equally true that reading stories transforms
our lives. It was this insight that prompted Vivien to
write Everyday Magic, sharing her life stories as a
case study, so that others would see their own lives
through a different lens – the lens of magic.
