Recently SOAR was blessed with an amazing donation from Lowe’s Home Improvement, Southport, NC through their Hometown Heroes program. Lowe’s has made a five-year, $100 million commitment to restore and revitalize community spaces across the country. Lowe’s associates rolled up their sleeves and spent the day helping to revitalize the property at SOAR.
Improvements included:
Adding solar powered outdoor lights
Replacing damaged wood
Landscaping, pavers and planting flowers and bushes
Power washing and mulching
The amount of work accomplished in several hours by the nicest group of people is greatly appreciated. This allows SOAR to concentrate resources on providing food, shelter and medical care for the cats and dogs awaiting their forever home.
