An egg in the nest doesnt become a bird overnight.
This is Brickle. You know that there are many questions in life. Some we never find the answers to. Some questions remain a mystery our entire lives. Like how I am so handsome.
As Ive gotten older and even more wiserwhich seems impossibleI have changed. Not only in how I see life and what I want in life. But my tastes have changed too.
I used to like eggs. Digby and I had them every single morning.
Digby also was very good at getting Girl Person to serve us on time.
But Fruitycake is, may I say, and I will, a bit lazy. And I have forced to do the job. And when Digby was no longer here to get eggies on time, somehow they didnt taste as good. And I didnt want them anymore.
So Girl Person hasnt tried to make me eggs lately. But she says they are good for me. And that I should try them again.
She says that its ok to think about Digby when I think of eggs. But she says not to be sad. But be glad I can share them with Fruitycake now.
She says she is going to scramble them with a little butter to put on my brunch.
She says maybe a different approach will have me liking eggs again.
So I thought maybe a different approach to things in life would matter too just like different styles of eggs.
I thought Id focus on the positive and run away from the negatives. I thought my experiences now could be familiar like eggs though different, like scrambled eggs.
Me, Im just hoping Girl person wont burn the eggs and brunch is on time. Its up to me. Fruitycake is too busy dropping Duckie in the water.
Everyone needs time to develop their dreams. It takes a long time in life to form opinions, change those opinions, and revisit them again.
An egg in the nest doesnt become a bird overnight. Keep changing. Keep revisiting things you may have thought you didnt like. Focus on things in life that you might have liked and switch things up. Who knows you might like them again.
