I’ll Be There For You.

This is Fruitycake. My days are filled with many things. I get to wake up and be somewhere new all of the time.

But I still get to be with my family every day.

I get to be taught by Brickle on how to do all the dog stuff. And I get to help Brickle too.

You want to know a secret? He doesn’t even mind that he needs me.

Brickle told me that all of his life, he has been the strong one. He says that he likes his job.

But he says that he has a hard time of showing his soft side.

However, he says that it is easier since I came along. He says that he will always be there for me. And I told him I will always be there for him.

That may seem like such a simple thing to say. And I suppose that many individuals make that promise.

But how many keep that promise? Not many. Not many at all.

If you have a hard time trusting what someone says, I do understand that. There’s more reasons not to trust than to trust. I learned this being a stray dog too.

But sometimes, even if there are more reasons not to trust, you just have to try. If I didn’t trust Brickle and he didn’t trust me, life would not be has fun or as happy. Life would be harder without him. He sure wouldn’t laugh as much. That I’m sure of.

So if someone says they will be there for you, thru thick lasagna or thin spaghetti, take that chance.

And show others the same respect and reason to trust. Be the person you want as a friend.

I’ll be there for you. That I promise as you have been there for us.
