Otaku for life Assassination Classroom
Assassination Classroom aired in 2015.The story is about an exceptionally powerful octopus-like creature who decides to attend a middle school as a homeroom teacher.
He is named Koro-sensei, as in the Japanese word for kill by his students.The students are given the task of assassinating him within a year, to prevent him from destroying earth.However, his class, 3-E, is considered a failure by the rest of the school because the students are bad in their academics.Yet, he willingly teaches these students and makes them excel in everything.
Even among the students, few characters are highlighted like; Nagisa Shiota, who, though being a boy, is treated like a girl by his mother and Karma Akabane, the smartest student in his class but can be very violent. Every character is given a short backstory which explains their current behavior and uniqueness.Two extra teachers are also introduced in the anime.
There are a few concepts which are badly explained, but the entertaining sequence is enough to back it up.The characters are excellent and the main plot is thrilling. It is an engrossing anime which can make one cry; and then laugh. The animation quality is simple with no complicated designs, which makes them different. The anime was such a hit, that it even got a live action adaption.
